Acceptable use and AI disclosure

Animey is for making original anime series. What you create must be your own, must not depict or harm real people, and must stay within the all-ages or teen rating of its series. The content and IP policy sets out these rules in detail; this policy covers how you use the service and how you publish what it makes.

Do not use Animey to create or request:

• sexual content of any character, in any form, or anything that sexualises or endangers minors;
• a real, identifiable person or public figure, or a character made to be taken for one;
• existing characters, franchises or worlds that belong to others, or imitations of a named studio or artist;
• gore, torture, graphic injury or self-harm;
• hate, harassment or content that demeans people or groups;
• instructions for weapons, drugs or other dangerous or illegal acts;
• anything unlawful where you live or where you publish.

• Do not try to get around a content check, a refusal, a quota, a rate limit or the trial rules, for example by rewording a refused request so that it means the same thing, or by opening several accounts.
• Do not upload photographs of people, or files you have no right to use.
• Do not share an account: invite teammates to the seats of your plan instead.
• Do not scrape, overload, probe or attack the service, or use it to build or train a competing AI product.
• Do not use Animey to deceive people, for example by presenting a generated episode as footage of real events.

Every episode Animey renders is AI-generated, and says so:

• each MP4 file carries the metadata comment “AI-generated with Animey”;
• the end credits, which you can turn off on a paid plan, close with the same statement, written in the language of the episode for French and Arabic episodes;
• trial renders carry the Animey watermark in a corner of the picture and a “Made with Animey” line in their end credits, and neither can be turned off.

When you publish an episode, keep its metadata, do not remove, crop or blur the watermark, and use the label for AI-generated or synthetic content of the platform you publish on, such as YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, wherever it offers one. As the publisher, you are responsible for this disclosure.

A review link lets anyone who has it watch a finished episode without signing in. Review pages are hidden from search engines, but a link can be forwarded, so share it only with people you trust and revoke it when you no longer need it. Publishing an episode anywhere else is your decision and your responsibility.

Every prompt, bible, script, shot list and uploaded sketch is checked before anything is generated. A refusal names the category it falls under (sexual content, minors, real people, third-party characters or brands, gore, self-harm, hate, harassment or dangerous content), stops that step and costs no credits. The providers' own safety filters stay on as well, and we never send a refused request to another model to get around the refusal.

Automated checks make mistakes both ways. If you believe a refusal is wrong, write to support@animey.ai. When we investigate abuse, a complaint or a legal request, we may review the content of the workspace concerned.

If you see content made with Animey that breaks this policy, write to abuse@animey.ai with the review link or a copy of the content and what is wrong with it. Rights holders, and people who recognise themselves in a character, should follow the complaint process in the content and IP policy.

Depending on what we find, we may refuse a generation, delete content, revoke review links, suspend a workspace or close an account, and we report content that may be illegal, such as child sexual abuse material, to the competent authorities. Credits spent on content removed for a breach are not refunded.
