Animey draws every series in one of 8 art styles, from classic cel shading to watercolor, chibi and neon night scenes. Each style is a generic description of a look: none copies a studio, an artist or an existing series.
Classic cel
Flat cel shading, bold ink lines and a light film grain.
Modern digital
Soft gradients, clean lines and bright, high-key light.
Watercolor
Paper texture, soft edges and colors that bleed into each other.
Ink wash
Monochrome brushwork with a single red accent.
Chibi
Big heads, simple bodies and a pastel palette.
Retro OVA
Muted colors, glowing highlights and a letterboxed frame.

How styles work
One style card keeps a whole series in style
- Pick a style when you create a series.
- Animey draws a style card, a sample frame with the style’s palette, line weight and shading, and you approve it.
- Every character sheet, location plate and keyframe is drawn against the approved card, so episode ten looks like episode one.
- Change the style later and Animey draws a new card; characters are redrawn in the new style and approved again, never silently.

Questions about styles
Do the styles copy existing anime?
No. Each style is a generic description of a look (line weight, shading, palette, texture) and never names a studio, an artist, a show or a character. Prompts that ask for someone else’s work are refused.
How do I choose a style?
Pick the one whose mood fits your story: each style page lists what the look suits, from action to bedtime stories. Then check your series’ style card before you approve it.
Can I change the style of a series?
Yes. The series gets a new style card, and approved characters are redrawn in the new style and approved again, so no episode mixes two looks by accident.
Can I see a style before I pay?
Yes. Each style page shows the style’s palette and what it suits, and the wizard draws your series’ own style card for you to approve before you spend a credit on shots.
